Oh, what a year it has been! I think we can all agree that this year really was full of surprises and most we were not ready for. In the midst of all the chaos, I do hope that we learnt more about ourselves, that we unlearnt the things that do not add value to our lives and most importantly that we found healing when we needed it.

I am writing this letter to thank you for your consistency if it were not for you all I would still be writing for myself, and quite frankly that is no fun. I award each of you for my growth, you are the reason I write for healing today. This year we definitely saw the numbers grew and to those who joined the Becoming Journey this year, I do hope that you stay and invite more people to join us on our journey.

Last month I ran the #DearJohn challenge and I was very excited about it. I am so proud of everyone who took part in the challenge. It is never easy to open old wounds and address them, as human beings the easy thing for us is to bury things and pretend they never happened. It was an emotional challenge and I commend all those who finished and those who have just started.

You will note that I did not manage to finish the challenge and haven’t blogged since I fell off the wagon. I went through something that left me feeling broken and angry, I tried to write but I realised that I was writing in anger. The last thing I want is to pass anger onto you because this platform is for healing so I stopped writing. I decided I was going to heal and bring nothing but positive lessons to you.

This is the last post I will be putting out in this year, we will kick off in January with a positive light. I wish you the very best for the rest of the year and listen, if you have anything you would like me to add to my calendar for 2021, contact me!
