Hey, there world, I know you had not heard from me for a while and I can explain. Well sort of. Lol We have been living in a panini press (read pandemic) for over a year now and dare I say it is our new norm now. Last year was difficult for all of us, we struggled with our mental health and the major changes that came with the pandemic. I can testify to this struggle and it definitely seeped into my work. I worked when I could and that was not enough I guess.
To be honest, when I had the energy I channelled it towards paid work because the bills did not care about my lived reality. I had to make the things work, so I did. The down side is that I failed to carry my usual blogging routine. What is this routine you may ask? Its pretty simple, the last 6 months of the year are dedicated to me creating content for the coming year. It really helps me stay consistent plus I create content with zero pressure, works so great for a perfectionist. In 2020 this was an actual flop, I got nothing done, I was so out of it.
The energy carried itself into 2021, and I created content when I could but it was on the go and I hated it so, I decided its time to pause. This will be the final post from me this year and I will start preparing for 2022, the girl will be back with a bang. I mean that because I will also be switching up with the direction for my blog. Do not panic, I am not going to move into tech blogging or anything hectic like that. We still, working on ourselves, TRUST!
When I was not writing I thought about my journey I realised there are lessons I brought to you that I myself am now past, they will always be here and they will help someone. However, the time for me to move into other lessons has finally come. That is what the journey of becoming is all about right, we grow and we move. I am excited for this new journey and I promise to bring you nothing but light in the coming year.
