Let’s talk about nudes. I love taking nudes, they make me happy and have been a part of my self-love journey. The day I stopped taking them for other people, I realized what a great tool they are when it comes to learning how to love your body. A friend of mine does this too and she taught me to practise body positivity on myself, this has helped me to practise it with other people too. So, I say yes to taking nudes! Make it a ritual if you must, do a full-blown shoot with a photographer if you have the budget for it. Nudes are empowering!

But I have a bone to chew with the fellas. See when I send a nude picture to a man, he has so much to look at. My big boobs, my fupa, the hips, the ass you can barely miss, the dips and curves on my plus size body. So much to take in and digest, so much to comment on. I mean if that is not a blessing on its own. I mean sometimes I will be semi-nude, sexy looking or whatever. Imagination ignited and still so much for Mr Man to talk about.

But what must I do with a dick pic? Where is the rest of you? See when you send me a dick pic you are limiting my comments to,’ it’s so beautiful and big.’ Now what? Cause anything outside of that we are bordering choking your ego because ‘it’s cute and small,’ is body shaming even if it is true. May I just say, not everyone is about the big dicks and whilst you take that as a jab the good sis might be feeling it. I digress, my question still stands, WHERE IS THE REST OF THE NUDE?

Who the hell told y’all that we are not into ass shots and full-body nudes? Y’all be watching porn to get it hard before snapping a pic, sir I would like to marinate in the before too. I want to see you in your real form so I can imagine caressing your body till the Lil man stands at attention. Y’all be real lazy with the nudes and it is upsetting me and my homegirls. Pose in that mirror boo, just do something I beg! It takes two to keep the fire alive in this relationship so if you could hold your end of the bargain, that would be great, thank you!

Nudes that have the full body at all angles say, I love my body and I am confident in it. They tell me that you are body conscious. If you can pose in a photo for me, then being in front of me nude is going to be electric. A man who loves his body is such a turn on, I wish you understood. Move away from the idea that we are always looking for abs and V-lines, we are looking for what we like and that is YOUR body. That is why we are with you, isn’t it? Again I say, flaunt that bawdy baby!

I do dislike the way nudes have been categorized for women as if nudity does not arouse us. Are we robots? I also dislike the mentality that a person who enjoys taking nudes is promiscuous, throw the whole mentality away, please! On behalf of my girls, we love nudes too so y’all get it together at the next men’s conference and discuss creativity in that department.
